Although nominally classified as an acoustic album, this description doesn't really do it justice.  It has a much greater variety than that, and benefits from a more 'full-bodied' sound on many of the tracks.  Leigh is responsible for writing all the songs and infuses them with the conviction of her beliefs to create several outstanding highlights.

Track of the album is "I", a perfect fusion of acoustic and rock sounds with a thudding base line from Mike Marsden, and highly catchy rhythmic percussion from Chuck Sansone that helps to elevate it above the ordinary.  Not far behind is "Back For More", another up beat number with the acoustic side more to the fore.  Among the other standout tracks are "Workin'" with a funky electric guitar adding support; "Lonely" which is underpinned with a wonderful organ sound, and "AmBush" with an altogether darker sound.  And we certainly couldn't review this without mentioning a particularly bouncy little ditty called "Masturbating" - great fun and highly pleasurable, we have no hesitation in recommending it unreservedly (the song that is!).

Singer/songwriter Leigh Evin McCullough clearly knows her own mind, and doesn't shy away from letting others know it as well.  The result is some great feisty songs - cutesy she ain't!  More importantly though she grabs your attention, entertains you and gets you thinking.  And you can't ask for more than that.
