The end of summer usually means that those "fun" songs that made up the soundtrack to your holiday in the sun can fade away into the obscurity of compilation land. Or perhaps not. Lana teases out another one in the form of "Don't Call Me Baby". There's a bit of old style disco squeezed in between the sequenced Latin rhythms but it all just sounds wrong.  In a sonic nightmare that I just had, this song got megamixed with the vile Madison Avenue song of the same name. Short dresses, sunburn and dodgy sangria - it's all coming back to me. In fact, there's even a Spanish version of the song too. "Liar Liar" is on the flipside, so to speak, but it doesn't really go anywhere either.

Lana has a damn fine voice but she needs better material than she gets with this release.
