The Dude abides and that rug really set off the room. It did indeed but, in the here and now, we are hovering over the abyss of emotional torment with nothing but the songs of Lone Omi to fuel the helicopter that is our unworthy lives. Oh, we appear to be deliberately crashing…

There are but four songs here and each and every one would cause you to pick up the phone to the Samaritans or, should luck be a lady tonight, give thanks to the inventor of Prozac. Keeping it deeply personal is clearly the modus operandi for Lone Omi and the task in hand is undertaken with rare conviction as if the knife twisted in the Omi chest had found and fatally penetrated the heart of a torch singer. The required proof is written in blood throughout this EP and is made nothing less than downright obvious in “I Am The Sun”.

Commercial? Probably not but elemental truth doesn’t really need to be.

Available from Bandcamp as a download or a cassette.
