Close your eyes and you will find yourself in a bar in deepest Texas. You smell the cigarettes and listen to bar talk. Behind the chicken wire there is a 6 foot five singer playing the truest Hank Williams style country music seasoned with a pinch of rockabilly.

That was the feeling BluesBunny got when he listened to this 6 track EP from Johnny Falstaff. There is some fine guitar pickin' on the heartfelt ballad "Foolish Me" and "Fallen" rocks the juke joint. "Shine" is the perfect sing-along to accompany some fine bourbon. All tracks were written by the man himself. He wears a big stetson too.

The sound quality of the CD could be better and does not do justice to his voice. Nevertheless, the music hits the mark. You can get it from CD Baby.
