This is very much the rough and ready style of recording.  Nothing fancy, just lots of energy.  The result, not unexpectedly, is raw and with the rough edges still showing.  Not necessarily a bad thing in our view, as we are heartily fed up with music that has been so over produced that the songs have been stripped bare of all semblance of life and soul.

This seven track album of her own songs is surprisingly varied in style.  Songs that are out and out angst-ridden punk as with "Boys Are Dumb", sit alongside ballads like the "Attic Song" that are altogether more poetic and tender sounding.  The standout track however is the catchy pop sound of "Maybe Tomorrow".  Although it may be a bit patchy, it does have a certain 'primitive' charm and that is worth more than an MP3 player full of downloaded banality.
