Bluesbunny's favourite peddlers of pop smut once again deliver the goods. The lyrics may not be for children - unless you want to find yourself in the embarrassing position of having to explain them - but for the rest of us this album is a shining light in a fog of mediocrity. The band have been playing together for some years now and it shows. The musicianship is polished without being sterile with the drumming of John Maloney being particularly notable.

It is difficult to pick out favourite tracks when the quality is so high. "Open Wide" and "Drunk" made the Bluesbunny laugh out loud while he was singing along. As a bonus, let the CD play all the way through and you will find a hidden track - a truly different take on the "Facts of Life". Inspired!

Having seem them perform live on many occasions, this album is not the result of studio trickery. This is a real band playing together. So you can consider the goods delivered. An excellent album and so it can be strongly recommended.
