Choice AC5523

2006

This 3-track EP of country inspired songs is a fine first offering.  The first two tracks are both up tempo numbers of which "I'm A Wild One" is the one that really stands out with its bouncy, toe-tapping beat.  The final track of the three, "How Much I Missed You Today" is a fine slower tempo song with a more pronounced piano backing, although it does veer a bit to close to the movie soundtrack style of performance for comfort.

Although well produced by George McClure, at just over twelve minutes this can only give the merest of glimpses of Veronica's abilities, so it's going to have to be a case of seeing what the future brings.  Nevertheless if you like your country Nashville-coated you should give this some consideration.
