Released: 2009

Another release from the increasingly prolific young Scottish songwriter Adam Ross. This time he's put out a four track EP called "Eerie Indie Adam".

It's always good to see an artist develop and Adam Ross is clearly putting a shine on his act. Two of his previous releases have been through the wringer here at Bluesbunny Towers, after all, and it is fair to say that they turned out to be diamonds in the rough. The four songs here show a much greater focus on presentation. The sound is much better, the arrangements show imagination and his voice has developed its unique resonance (barring the odd bit of faux Morrissey mannerisms in "In the Ad Breaks") showing a much greater confidence. The star song this time around is "Home Alone" that displays a true lyrical dexterity and wry outlook that takes him away from the fluffy feel good land of indie pop.

One to watch, without a doubt!
