This trio has an intimate musical style based around the interplay of guitarist Gerard Egan and drummer Eric Reed.  And in vocalist (and bassist) Carolyn Sills' they have the perfect accompaniment.  She has a floating, soaring quality to her voice that just works perfectly with this material.  Highlights are "Pretty Violent" and "Done Wonders" both of which showcase their stylish, understated approach.  Of the others, "After Awhile", with guitarist Gerard Egan picking up the vocals, and the gentler "Goes Like Nothing" also standout from the crowd.

At times the band's sound comes across as early 60's post rock & roll with hints of rockabilly and a bit of Eddie Cochran coming to the fore, and at other times they sound as if they are auditioning for a follow up to the Twin Peaks soundtrack!  This may be a bit of a mixed bag with some of the songs not quite coming off, however there are enough that do hit the mark for it to be deserving of your attention.
