I’m trying to think of another soft rock band from Shropshire that I might have liked but none actually come to mind. That’s probably not important as M.A.D.I.S.O.N sound like they actually come from the good old U.S of A.

I’m not just talking transatlantic accents either – as many a band. has that affectation – more the amount of polish that has been applied to the three songs on this EP. There are harmonies that layer up perfectly and the playing is session player prefect. Those songs, by the way, even sound like they came from the songbook of some American band that was big back when and, to be fair to the band, “Take Me Back” would surely have got the radio airplay necessary to chart.

I reckon that a band like M.A.D.I.S.O.N should find a lot of enthusiastic followers amongst fans of Toto and Fleetwood Mac.
