Our Delbert has been around a long time. The secret of his musical longevity is that he always delivers the goods. Whether doing his own songs or covering classics, he sings like he means every word. A true professional.

This 13 track release from 2005 was co written and produced by the man itself and covers familiar themes. "The Part I like Best" has Delbert talking about his lady.  "I'll Change My Ways" takes us back to the style of his early country rock days. "I Had a Real Good Time" and "Midnight Communion" will easily become roadhouse favourites. Best track to the BluesBunny ears was the melancholy "Your Memory, Me and the Blues".

Ably backed by musicians of quality such as Kevin McKendree, Gary Nicholson and Lynn Williams, Delbert has delivered an album guaranteed to get the old toes tapping. His country influences are more obvious here than in his other recent albums but, like we said at the start of this review, Delbert delivers the goods.
