Showing my customary disregard for the value of research and consequently ignoring the press release, I tried to imagine what a band like StopGoSixty would look like. Judging by the evidence presented in their polished EP ”Chrysalis”, they would have to be  to wearers of suits, perhaps with casually arranged ties, and possessed of the near obligatory stubble born of grooming rather than by living la vida loca.

You could even say that StopGoSixty are like Blue with a dollop of value added street credibility. They sound suitably commercial and radio friendly with big voiced songs like “Runway” and “Shoot Me Down” providing more than adequate proof that they could topple the vest tops and nice hair of the established favourites and steal the hearts of all the lassies.

So StopGoSixty sound like you should buy them and they look – now that I have actually seen the press release – like you should buy them and they do all that while sounding like a band that never seems to be trying too hard. I think the word I am looking for is cool…
