At only 6 tracks long, this may not be big - but it's certainly clever.  With all songs written by members of the band and backed by some solid percussion, the liberal application of an upright base and some excellent guitar riffs, this 3-piece band from Minnesota certainly knows how to put a good song together

From the almost Kinks-like "14 Days" (that's the Ray Davies led band, not a perversion) to the more bluesy "Unforgivable" this band are capable of a blend of musical styles beyond most.  However, the excellently crafted "Word in a Chokehold" is my personal favourite, and would seem to have the most potential for commercial success.  Which on the basis of this outing the band deserve more than those currently having it handed to them on-a-plate by the plague of so called talent shows infesting our TV's (that's the large box in the corner of your room, not cross-dressers!).

With no padding this one is strongly recommended.  Track it down at CDBaby, it is well worth the effort
